"Acting for Film"

Christopher Liebe has been teaching acting classes along side of Jeff Goldblum and Robert Carnegie at the “Playhouse West Acting School” for the past 5 years. He is also a founding member and acting coach for the production company “Elevation 9000 Films”.

Mr. Liebe has been the driving force behind the acting skill of every member of Elevation 9000 Films. He started the Elevation 9000 Film Lab that resulted in the creation of fifteen short film scripts and the completion of eight short films including the award-winning “Gretchen Brettschneider Skirts Thirty”.

Chris directed the short film “Zelda”, another short created from the lab by Illyrium Productions.

As an actor, Mr. Liebe has appeared in over one hundred plays, films and television shows, such as “Days of Our Lives”, “Beverly Hills 90210” and “Saved by the Bell – The New Class”. He was also in the Academy Award winning student short film, “The Confession”.

He graduated with a B.F.A. in Theatre from the University of California Santa Barbara.

Christopher and actors from the Playhouse West Acting School will work with Judith Weston in the Directing Actors and Acting for Film. His experience in acting as well as filmmaking will provide a view from both sides of the camera.
